Silver Metal Clay is a revolutionary new medium which allows you to create 99.9% pure silver jewellery.  It consists of very small particles of pure silver mixed with an organic binder and water. The metal clay can be moulded and textured. It is then fired with a torch or fired in a kiln to transform it into silver.

In this class students will make Pandora Style bead with sterling silver large hole inserts. Add your own embellishment to personalise your PaMdora beads.

Techniques Include:

• Learning about the clay
• Rolling out the clay to a consistent thickness,
• Texturing the clay, cutting and forming the clay into a bead
• Inserting sterling silver bead finding
• Drying, sanding and refining
• Learn how to hand fire your clay with a butane torch
• Learn about patina and oxidising
• How to correctly finish and polish the silver
